Kenidjack - 1986

I had thought myself well content during this time with all we had been achieving together but Lyn's intuition gradually came to interpret it differently, perceiving a deep restlessness.

Realising we had now been too long away from Cornwall and that I had not been able to paint seriously, Lyn searched out a small farm and buildings a few miles from Lands End.

Our experiences had proved constructive; much had changed in the twelve years we had been away. I was now ready to advance again to a new area of my own work.

I did not know how to begin but had set aside paintings which, although unfinished, had retained emotional impact through the years: they were a springboard for renewed activity.
